Escalation Coordinator

As our Escalation Coordinator, you will be accountable for the coordination of all risk events across Insurer Services and working with stakeholders to identify short term actions and long-term fixes for such events, tracking and driving the delivery of agreed actions through to successful resolution.

You will drive forward the incident framework that provides a straightforward process - which is exactly what you need to instil calm and confidence during the events

This role can be based locally to our Leicester or Bexhill-on-Sea offices with a hybrid approach to working. For the right individual, we’re happy to discuss permanent homeworking options.

What will you be doing?- Acting as a central point of coordination for all risk events, helping colleagues navigate the process to reach stability- Maturing the incident management framework, including regular reviews and updates, and informing stakeholders where appropriate- Ensuring alignment across the wider Hastings Direct incident management framework- Ensuring all risk events are logged on the risk system and linked to risks, with appropriate risk owners and event information- Ensure all short-term actions and longer-term fixes are tracked and delivered in a timely manner- Designing and delivering regular reporting on incidents, focusing on causes and trends- Collaborating with the wider Process Assurance and Governance team to provide risk and control insight- Liaising with 2nd line incident management to determine, document and communicate responsibilities

What are we looking for?- Experience within incident coordination or operational issue resolution- Brilliant at prioritising competing tasks- Ability to diagnose and problem and communicate clear requirements- Experience within insurance/financial services desirable (or a regulated environment)- Confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders
