The Acacium Group is looking for a Head of Contracting as part of our wider legal division. The role will be responsible for managing a small team of 3-5, looking after full lifecycle commercial contract management. As head of the team, you will also oversee change and transformation management for systems and processes and support the ongoing development of the team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a fresh outside of the box challenge, within a dynamic business that provides unique healthcare solutions across, health, social care, and life sciences.

**Every day you will**
- Line manage the commercial contracting team to ensure the business obtains appropriate contract support in its commercial operations
- Provide advice and guidance to the Group on all aspects of commercial contracting
- Support the reform of the contracting function as it transitions onto a new contract lifecycle management system and help identify other opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Reviewing current model for contracting with clients and suppliers, driving improvements to improve quality of process
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal clients/other stakeholders raising the profile of the team in the process
- Oversee client and framework contracting activity, ensuring compliance with delegated authorities and that agreements are in line with commercial/risk appetite. There will be specific focus on developing commercial framework for innovative new service offerings for healthcare clients and expanding scale internationally
- Ensure effective contract management framework for key external supplier
