**Role Brief**
We are seeking a creative and skilled Staff Writer to join our team and contribute to the development of leadership training and marketing materials. As a Staff Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful content for our clients, including workbooks, video scripts, and training presentations that align with our brand's unique tone of voice and effectively conveys our leadership development philosophies and insights. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating compelling marketing materials for various channels including whitepapers, blogs, and brochures, as well as overseeing and enhancing website copy.
The goal of the role is to lead the charge in meticulously crafting and curating **all** content, from training materials to marketing collateral, ensuring strong brand alignment, the perfect tone of voice, and maximum resonance for impactful engagement.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the leadership development team to understand and internalise the brand's tone of voice, messaging guidelines, and overall content strategy
- Generate innovative ideas for leadership development content that cater to the needs of our target audience and align with our brand's objectives
- Write and develop high-quality workbooks, video scripts, and training presentations that are insightful, engaging, and reflective of the brand's voice
- Conduct thorough research on leadership development trends, best practices, and relevant industry insights to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content produced
- Transform complex leadership concepts into easily understandable and actionable content for a diverse audience
- Oversee and optimize website copy to ensure it aligns with the brand's tone, messaging, and SEO best practices
- Work closely with designers, video producers, and other team members to ensure that the visual and textual elements of the content complement each other effectively
- Edit and proofread your own work as well as the work of others to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency
- Adapt to feedback and revisions, ensuring that the final content is aligned with brand guidelines and meets the intended goals
**Need To Have Skills and Experience**
- A-Level Qualifications
- Proven experience as a writer
- Portfolio of work showcasing a range of writing styles and experience crafting effective copy for various channels
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar
- Proficiency in adapting writing style to match a brand's tone of voice and messaging guidelines
- Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging content
- Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from various sources
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms commonly used for content creation and collaboration
- Understanding of SEO principles and website copy optimisation
- Strong commitment to learning, training, and development
**Nice To Have Skills and Experience**
- BA Hons Degree Qualification in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field
- Proven experience as a writer with a focus on leadership development, corporate training, or organizational behaviour
- Familiarity with leadership development concepts, theories, and industry best practices
**Role Package**
Work Schedule: 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), some flexibility in working hours
Work Location: Remote - opportunity for hybrid work if located around Manchester area
Work Authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
