Staffordshire County Council are looking for a motivated person who is passionate about harnessing the citizen and user experience to inform service design and improve care quality.

Main Responsibilities
You will support the Strategic Engagement Lead to drive engagement and co-production across adult social care. This is a practical role where your experience and knowledge in engaging and working with people whose lives feature health and social care services will support the skills and capacity development of the directorate to embed co-production best practice.

The role will support the implementation of engagement procedures and practice guidance, contribute to the development and review of engagement tools and resources, develop, and deliver training and learning opportunities, and provide facilitation support to engagement and co-production projects.

This is a full-time role, with travel to services across the county as required.

What you will bring

You have the ability to relate positively to the people that use adult health and social care services, communicating effectively with staff at all levels and building good relationships with other stakeholders.

You will have experience in data collation and interpretation, including the development of reports and presentations.

You will believe strongly in and adhere to the values and principles behind co-production and will be able to support the promotion of the approach.

What you will have
- Level 3 or above qualification in adult learning and training or equivalent.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Training and group facilitation skills, including in-person and online.
- Conflict resolution skills for groups.
- Proven track record in developing training tools and resources.
- Presentation skills, both in-person and online.
- Time-management and organisation skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
