We are seeking enthusiastic people with a caring disposition to join our team at our Preston Base. As a Patient Transport Operative, you play an important role transporting patients to their destination on time, supporting them on their journey, ensuring they are cared for to and from hospital for treatment or back home after discharge.

The role involves driving, or assisting as part of a crew with patients who have different requirements based on their mobility classification. The job purpose is to provide and maintain a caring environment for these patients and provide a safe transport service, whilst maintaining high standards of patient and timeliness. You will be expected to act in accordance with all ER Systems policies, procedures, protocols, client guidelines and current legislation.

All applicants will undergo strict vetting procedures before appointment and relevant employment checks including (but not limited to): DBS, references and identity checks.

**Job type available**:

- Zero hour contract

Pay: £11.00 (per hour)

**Required**:

- **Experience of working in Patient Transport Services within an Ambulance environment.**:

- **A full manual B driving licence as a minimum, with no more than 6 penalty points.**

Desirable:

- Current First Aid qualification
- Current First Response in Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC 3)
