**About the Health and Safety Lead role**:
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support on health and safety matters for housing, property construction and operations to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legal obligations.

**What you will be doing as our Health and Safety Lead**:

- Be responsible for producing a suite of compliance key performance information and health and safety information to assure compliance across all statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure that health and safety and CDM arrangements are in place covering all aspects of works delivered by the DLO and their contractors. Ensure that the DLO and its operatives fully comply with all health and safety legislation.
**We will**
- encourage you to undertake projects for other teams within housing, broadening your knowledge and understanding- fund you to study for an industry-recognised qualification in Housing Practice, giving you valuable skills in researching and writing reports, evaluating different approaches to housing issues and planning for your own development.
**About you**
- Possess a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, a NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or IOSH Fire Safety for Managers, and an IOSH CDM regulations training certificate or equivalent.
- Possess, or be willing to study towards, a NEBOSH National Certificate in Health and Safety Management for Construction, P405 - Management of Asbestos in Buildings, Bohs level 4 in legionella control, and an HHSRS training certificate. Be required to make site visits in a large, rural area, so access to personal transport and a valid driving licence will be necessary.
