**Carer / Personal Assistant for Young Gentleman with a Brain Injury**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care(2:1) to a young gentleman with a brain injury. This rewarding role encompasses all aspects of care, including personal care, administering medications, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of his bungalow. The client enjoys going for days out and appreciates bubbly people with a good sense of humour. This is role that allows you to make a positive impact on someone's life and gives the opportunity to work within a friendly environment as part of a close-knit team.

Start date for this role is expected to be as soon as possible (or as soon as notice period has been worked).

**Salary**: £12.50 / hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with personal care routines to ensure the comfort and well-being of the individual.
- Administering medications in accordance with prescribed schedules and guidelines.
- Keeping the bungalow clean, organised, and a comfortable living space.
- Working collaboratively with a small team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Organising and accompanying the individual on days out.
- Facilitating and assisting with appointments including physio and hydrotherapy sessions to aid in the individual's rehabilitation and well-being.

**Working Hours**:
We offer two shift options:

- Nightshift: 19:00 to 07:00
- Combination of Nights and Days:
Day shift timings: 07:00 to 17:00/07:00 - 19:00

Night shift timings: 19:00 to 07:00

**Positions Available**:
We have both full-time (30+ hours) and part-time positions available, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to fit your lifestyle.

A responsible and reliable individual who can effectively manage their assigned tasks.

The ability to work effectively as part of a small and dedicated care team.
