Engineering Manager required for my client based near to Portland, Dorset.

The successful manager will be expected to have a sound engineering base with experience in multiple competencies / senior engineering. You will need to be knowledgeable in all areas of industrial engineering, including all areas of petrol and diesel engines,hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.

**Engineering ManagerPosition Overview**
- Requires staff organisation, distributing jobs and tasks to the other industrial staff and resolve all complications / issues.
- Working as part of a small team, fulfilling a supervisory / managerial role, acting as point of contact for both industrial employees & industrial customers.
- Alongside the Fabrication Manager, you will contribute to the Leadership Team
- Fault finding, repairs, installations, removals, drawing reviews and assembly from drawings.
- Knowledge of hydraulic safety systems, hose and component identification, pressure and conformance testing, hose manufacture.
- Providing estimates & quotes to customers
- Ensuring prices are profitable but within the company scale
- Dealing with customer queries

**Engineering ManagerPosition Requirements**
- Managerial - moving in this direction / progression.
- A level of competence suitably backed by qualification and historical evidence / references.
- Own tools and understanding of health and safety in an industrial environment.
- 1st aid certified and hydraulic and fluid power systems management.

**Engineering ManagerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary - £30,000 to £45,000 - dependent upon current experience, skills and qualifications.
- Full Time Position.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
- Pension + Salary Progression Scale
