We support individuals with a wide range of needs and conditions, including learning disabilities, mental health problems, autism, acquired brain injury and sensory impairments. Some of the people we support may have difficulties with communication and, at times, may display behaviours that are deemed to be challenging. Bespoke, high-quality training will be given so that you have exactly the right skills needed to support each person based on their individual needs.

We are keen to recruit skilled and experienced Team Leaders with a strong value base, who demonstrate kindness, compassion and integrity, alongside best practice, and who will be an excellent role model for the people in their team.

- Ensuring that the service runs smoothly in the manager’s absence.
- General support worker duties, including following care plans and supporting individuals in their daily routines, developing positive and relationships with the individuals and promoting their safety at all times, supporting contact with families and friends (as appropriate), supporting people with communication and positive behaviour management.
- Liaising with other professionals to ensure every individual’s needs are being met.
- Handling and administering medication.
- Completing records and documentation to a high standard.
- Have a minimum of 12 months’ support work experience.
- Are reliable, caring, compassionate and professional.
- Are ready for the next step in their careers and are keen to develop others.
- Genuinely want to make a difference to the lives of the individuals they support.
- Are resilient and able to handle challenging situations with positivity.
- Have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social care or equivalent and be willing to complete further learning and development.
- Are able to act on their own initiative and also work well in a team.
