I am recruiting on behalf of a large South Wales based business who is seeking a Qualified Finance Manager to join its team.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities of the role will include - Financial Management
- Finance lead for the business units and to lead the finance team to deliver the challenging annual results
- Preparation of the Annual Budgets and Reforecasts and ensuring that the BU directors are involved in the preparation of the forecasts
- Cash and WIP management and ensuring that invoicing is done on a timely and accurate manner
- Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
- Medium and long-term modelling and scenario planning

Financial Reporting
- Production of monthly accounts with a detailed analysis and reporting of the results for the business units against the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Timely and accurate reporting of the weekly WIP and invoicing with cash collection targets
- Support site finance and admin teams ensuring that they understand the requirements for the delivery of the results forecasted at site level
- Reconciling and reporting of the key balance sheet accounts and providing visibility of the issues
- Understand and report on the Lifecycle elements of the business
- Provide support to Commercial and Operational functions in understanding and challenging cost base

People
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including business stream and senior management teams, and to support and develop a finance team to deliver the challenging results
- Attend Senior Leadership and various other finance related meetings and deputise for the Head of Finance when required
- Provide guidance and best practise to the Finance, Commercial and Administration teams
- Work closely with the various departments within the finance shared service centre based in England

Skills / Qualifications / Experience required
- Strong commercial acumen, with a high level of integrity and resilience
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to operate both at transactional and strategic level
- Experience of operating to tight deadlines and accurately for the submission of trading results
- Ability to set objectives, take personal responsibility and work towards objectives with high levels of autonomy
- An effective communicator able to engage with none financial functions and influence change
- Wide business awareness and able to lead on both finance and none finance matters
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
