We have a fantastic opportunity to take on a Modern Apprentice for an excellent After School Care facility in **Clydebank, Glasgow**.

Working with children really is a career like no other. You have the chance to shape a young person's life, inspire their creative thought process and teach them skills they will use forever. Completing a Modern Apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Practitioner.

The successful applicant will be assisting senior practitioners and training under general direction of the manager. This is a part time position, Monday to Friday from 2pm-6pm.

In a typical day you will be involved in:

- Implement planned learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Excellence
- Keep children safe and well at all times
- Assist with meals and snacks
- Play outdoors in all weather

You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have three National 4 qualifications including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £5.28 per hour
