We currently have a vacancy for a Stores Assistant.

This role will involve assisting the store’s manager the general every day running of the spare parts department in the first instance. Your development in this role will be supported and encouraged, with an ongoing opportunity to progress within the company as you learn. Full training will be provided, although you must be self-motivated and organised with a positive outlook.

**Duties**

Keeping the warehouse, office and yard tidy.

Picking & Packing spare parts orders.

Dealing with transport of parts orders from parcels to pallets.

Liaising with our suppliers regarding availability.

Putting sales orders and purchase orders onto our system.

Keeping on top of stock, making sure we have the stock in or on order.

Stock taking when required.

Enforcing rules; no picking list/no parts leaving stores.

Off-loading deliveries of pallets with a forklift (where fully licenced)

**Skills - Desirable / would be an advantage**

Some experience in stock ordering, Purchase order processing and Sales order processing would be an advantage.

Sage - (Desirable)

Hours: Monday-Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm (1/2 Lunch)

**Own transport essential due to location - Location of office - Appleton Thorn WA4 4RB**

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Time & a half paid after 40 hours per week.
