We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the transactional finance team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Commercial Services are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.

We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator within the Commercial services department to join Yorkshire Water. The successful applicant will support the delivery of an efficient Accounts Payable service to the Kelda Group of companies. To identify and implement improvements to processes and service to customers through the provision of advice, guidance, and support to the business. Ensuring company policies, audit controls and legislative requirements are adhered to.

**Where you fit in**:
As our Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will:

- Interpret invoice data accurately and quickly in SAP.
- Carry out end to end procure pay process to a high standard.
- Communicate complex information to internal users.
- Understand the committed cost process and can confidently articulate what actions are required on each purchase order value
- Identify and drive process improvements, understanding the impact on systems and teams within the Commercial Services department and the wider business.
- Manage supplier escalations always providing an exceptional level of customer service and driving a right first-time approach.

**What skills & qualifications you will need**:

- SAP S4 and Ariba Experience
- Able to demonstrate and articulate the end to end procure to process stating what controls should be in place.
- Able to interpret purchase order status and what action is required when housekeeping takes place.
- Understand the good receipting process and able to process goods receipt into SAP.
- Accounts Payable specialist, including statutory reporting.

- AAT Finance

We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 1 day in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
