**QRecruitment is looking for a Room Attendant to room guests. The Room Attendant will help with all aspects of their stay, from check-in to checking out. The Room Attendant will also be responsible for ensuring that all guest requests are met. We are looking for a high energy person who is willing to work hard and enjoy the challenges of a small business. We have a great team that works hard and we want you to join us**

**Responsibilities**
**Check-in guests, answer phones, and assist with front desk duties**
- Check-out guests, provide change, ensure payment of bill are accepted, and ensure payment of card is processed
- Manage guest satisfaction
- Respond to guest complaints and requests
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

**Skills & Qualifications**
**High school diploma or equivalent preferred**
- 2 years of customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Must be able to provide thorough documentation on all shifts of the day (at least 2 hours)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and ability to work effectively in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
