Introduction

Straight Up Technologies (SUT) is looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant to report to our Crawley, UK office. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The primary duties and responsibilities of prospective applicants to the warehouse assistant role are to maintain, organize, and manage the company’s warehouse operations. This includes receiving, stocking, and shipping products, as well as providing administrative support to the warehouse team.
- Receive incoming shipments and check delivery documents for accuracy.
- Unpack, inspect, and stock products in the warehouse.
- Label and organize inventory according to the company’s standards.
- Assist with the coordination of shipments and deliveries.
- Assist with packing orders for shipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
- Assist with the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Assist with quality control and inventory management tasks.
- Participate in physical inventories and reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to the warehouse team.
- Generate reports and provide updates on inventory levels and stock movements.
- Monitor and maintain system documentation.
- Remain informed of current industry trends and developments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Note: New hires are expected to gain moderate knowledge of the technical aspects of computer networking devices, as this is the primary type of inventory that we stock in our warehouses. SUT will provide onboarding to educate new team members on the solutions we provide._

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- General Skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift 25kg and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
- Travel - A valid passport and the physical ability to travel to remote locations, domestic and foreign, for extended periods of time.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- General IT knowledge.
- A general understanding of common IT related concepts as demonstrated by the attainment of relevant technical certifications. (e.g., CompTIA A+)
- Understanding of general Inventory Management System concepts and procedures.
- Forklift and/or scissor lift certifications.
- A valid UK driving license.

- Salary range of £20,000-22,000 a year.
- Enrollment in Pension scheme with Company contributing an additional 3% of wages to the UK Pension Fund
