Estimating experience within the PVC or Aluminium window & door sector and looking for a fantastic career opportunity?_

MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for an established manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of upvc, aluminium and wood windows and doors. They now have an opportunity for a Senior Technical Sales Estimator to join the team (Home working will be considered)

**Technical Sales Estimator role**:

- Managing a sales budget you will build and maintain strong relationships with the active customer base, through telephone Teams and occasional face to face visits - maximising sales opportunities
- Line managing 2 Estimators you will oversee and lead the estimating of windows and doors, working across internal teams to secure opportunities and achieve budgets
- Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, and labour for window & door tender packages and prepare estimates using Business Micros Evolution
- Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions, ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
- Ensure the best deals are secured with suppliers and subcontractors
- Regularly reporting to Management and keeping clients updated on the project status

**Skills & Experience**:

- Significant Estimating experience with uPVC windows and doors is essential, with extensive knowledge of industry best practices and standards
- Great relationship building and people skills, comfortable with meeting customers and discussing upcoming projects
- A full understanding of building regulations and how to design product to meet these requirements
- Business Micros Evolution or similar software knowledge
- Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with other project teams and stakeholders.
- Driving licence and the ability to travel extensively and perform site visits as required

**The Package**:

- Salary circa £50k DOE
- 32 days annual leave (inclusive of statutory)
- Hours of work are 07.30-16.30 Monday-Thursday, 3PM finish on a Friday - part homeworking considered
- Where a site visit is required a pool car may be used, or milage will be paid
