As an insurance broker which specialises in motor fleets throughout the UK, we are expanding our claims team at our Belshill office and are looking for a Claims Handler to join our team. Do you have experience working in the Insurance industry in a claims handler role? If so then we want to hear from you

**Your responsibilities day to day will be**
- Manage an end to end caseload comprising of Motor Fleet, Commercial, Home, EL & PL claims.
- Creating new claims files and claim entries + updating claims payments
- Liaise with and advise customers on claims procedures
- Liaise with clients, Insurers and repairers where necessary to progress claim
- Making written records of all conversations with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts in accordance with the firm’s procedures manual
- Produce and present reports as and when required by clients, Account Executives, insurers or colleagues
- Meet with and support Account Executives at meetings with clients and/or Insurers.

**What do we expect of you?**
- Knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial/private customers
- Knowledge of general insurance and its underlying legal principles
- Minimum of 2 years claims handling experience preferably within an Insurer
- Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of insurance, claims and related issues through formal and informal learning both internal to the firm and externally
