An Apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to build a career, where you'll work in a large and highly rated organisation and gain professional business qualifications at the same time. During your 2-year apprenticeship with AXA, you'll be working towards your Certification in Insurance (Cert CII) and Scottish Vocational Qualification Providing Financial Services SCQF Level 6.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. After completion of your induction and training lasting approximately 12 weeks, you'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our Glasgow office.

We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

**Working Hours & Shift Pattern**: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with working hours on a rota basis between 8am to 6pm.

**Induction & Training**:
Induction Date: Monday 19th August 2024

To set you up for success in your new role, you'll receive a comprehensive 12-week onsite induction from our specialist trainers in our Glasgow office.

This apprenticeship is all about maximizing your potential. You'll be one of a small group of fellow apprentices, working with customer service professionals providing you with every opportunity to thrive. If you put in the hard work, you'll find plenty of opportunities to further your career with AXA, as earlier apprentices on the scheme have all done. This will include the chance to study for more advanced qualifications.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Learn how to provide the best support to our customers in a multi-channel environment, including sales, customer service and policy renewal retention.
- Develop excellent technical and insurance underwriting skills.
- Be able to identify key insurance needs for our customers.
- Resolve customer complaints in line with AXA complaints handling process.

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- No previous experience is required
- We’ll provide all the technology and training, and in return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm, passion for customer service.
- It’s essential to have obtained SQA National 5 qualifications to a high standard, including Mathematics and English.
- Natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem-solving ability and positive, can-do attitude.
- Passionate about working as part of a collaborative team.
- Customer focused, with the ability build rapport, listen and assess situations and conduct yourself in a highly professional manner.

To be eligible you must reside or spend 50% of your working time in Scotland, and been a resident in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.
