Head Housekeeper

**Live out Housekeeper, Penrith(CA11)**

Live out, proactive, flexible Housekeeper/Cook required near Penrith, Cumbria. Part time 3-5 days per week (25 hours min.) Start ASAP. Salary £15 Gross Per hour

Experienced and friendly housekeeper sought to look after a family home. We are looking for a flexible all rounder, someone who is friendly, dependable, discrete and proactive - who takes pride in their work and is happy to work around a bustling, busy household. Previous housekeeping skills are required along with private chef skills.

Usual hours will be between 0800-1400, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, depending on whether owner is in residence. Flexibility is key

You will be joining a committed and cheerful team here at the Estate.

**The Role**

A housekeeper cook will have the same responsibilities as a housekeeper but with the extra responsibility of preparing dinner parties and meals for the household when needed. They will take care of the house, ensuring that it is always clean, neat and tidy. There is special attention needed to prepare and cook for private dinner parties and when the family are entertaining.

**Duties may include**:

- Hands on Housekeeping, cleaning and tidying to a high standard
- Laundry, washing and ironing
- Changing beds
- Cooking
- must be comfortable and happy to help cook for familydinners and gatherings to a high standard
- Organising and running the house - working closely with the estateteam
- Running errands and some household shopping on occasion
- Feeding and exercising pets
- Watering household plants and making sure pathways and steps areclean and tidy
- Carrying out any other tasks that the employer may reasonably ask
- Energetic attitude
- The ability to self-motivate in a changeable environment
- Driving essential, must have own car to get to the property, expenseswill be paid if used for work purposes ( E.g. shopping / errands)
- Must have proven experience in private dinning / cooking
- Must be used to working in a fast past envuironment that can changeon a day to day basisJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary: £15.00-£18.00 per hour**
