**Fidela Coffee Roasters**:
**What we are looking for**

Fidela Coffee Roasters is a newly established coffee roastery & coffee bar on the North Coast of Ireland, based in Coleraine. We have been exporting green coffee since 2016, and recently opened our coffee roastery in March of 2020, but our connection goes right the way back to origin.

Due to continued business growth we are seeking to employ a Roastery Assistant at our roastery & coffee bar in Coleraine.

**Job Location**: Fidela Coffee Roasters, 9a Newmills Road, Coleraine, BT52 2JR

**Job Hours and length**: Full time, permanent

**Start Date**:As soon as possible.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Preparation of espresso and filter based drinks
- Engagement in conversation regarding the coffees, their process, and any other details as well as cupping the coffees each week
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Packing coffee bags
- Packing and preparing online orders and control of subscription coffees
- Daily coffee machine cleaning and maintenance
- Management of stock inventories and carrying out of stocktakes
- Control of movement of coffee through the roastery
- Daily cleaning
- Interested in training / public speaking
- Analytical thinking
- Good communication skills Analytical thinking

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Whilst not essential, SCA certified barista training is ideal
- A tenured experience in the speciality coffee scene
- In depth knowledge of speciality coffee and a keen interest for self development in the area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Problem solving skills
- Adaptable to change
- Coaching skills
- Hold a full UK (or transferable) driving licence

**Additional Information**

Whilst this role's primary responsibility involves roastery assistant and barista skills the successful applicant will be expected to carry out an extensive range of roles and responsibilities in the roastery. Where applicable, the appropriate training will be provided to the individual.
