**Essential Qualifications**:

- Assessor Qualification: AVRA / CAVA / A1 / Assessing in the active leisure sector or equivalent.
- L3 Certificate in Personal Training
- L2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (Gym Based)
- Experience in Gym, Personal Training, or equivalent.
- A strong willingness for continuous professional development.
- Full drivers License and access to own vehicle.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Teaching qualification: AET / PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS, Cert Ed, or Equivalent.
- L3 Certificate in Exercise Referral
- Level 4 Certificate in Exercise for Managing Lower Back Pain
- CPD in relevant qualifications.
- Qualifications in 1+ of the following: Boxing, Kettlebells, circuits, suspension, etc.

Experience is required, as is a strong willingness to continually develop your tutoring and assessing skills set. There will be an opportunity for further Professional Development to undertake a relevant Teaching qualification, to progress onto a full Freelance Tutor/Assessor role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Freelance Fitness Assessor, you will:
Create an open and rigorous learning environment, fostering comfort and openness among learners.

Guide progressive learning, aligning with unit and course objectives.

Encourage critical thinking and challenge learners to deepen their knowledge.

Ensure each session, communication, or assessment meets its objectives.

Recognize the evolving process of development and adapt support accordingly.

Adhere to OriGym brand guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Uphold excellent standards of presentation and behaviour.

**Assessor Skills**:
Facilitate teaching through non-directive questioning, stimulating discussions, and cueing when necessary.

Promote problem-solving and critical thinking, encouraging "out of the box" thinking.

Foster efficient learning by setting early goals, sensing problems, and promoting self-monitoring.

Promote individual learning by helping students develop study plans and improve study methods.

Evaluate through reviewing course aims, helping students define personal objectives, and reporting on individual progress.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year of experience in Gym, Personal Training, Sports Massage, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as L3 Certificate in Personal Training
- L2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (Gym based).
- Strong willingness for continuous professional development.

**Job Type**:
Contract

**Salary**:
£150.00 per day

**Schedule**:
8-hour shift, weekends (9:00 am - 5:30 pm)
