Careersolve are working with a manufacturing client who are looking for an **Accounts Assistant** to join their team based in Bishop Auckland. My client offers a generous salary depending on experience as well as some amazing benefits.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Quick overview of responsibilities of the **Accounts Assistant**:

- Manages customers to pay to agreed credit terms
- Maintaining Accounts Receivable ledgers
- Allocate payments to customer accounts
- Resolves queries and problems with customers’ accounts or documentation in a timely fashion
- Collate and post supplier invoice
- Prepare payment runs for review
- Executes month and year end routines and processes
- Prepares analysis, reports as required
- Supports other team members across UK on other tasks as required
- Raise Customer Credit Notes as required

Requirements for the **Accounts Assistant** role:

- 2 years’ experience in working in AR
- Highly proficient ERP / IT skills particularly regarding AR
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- An analytical, challenging mindset
- Problem-solving, can-do attitude
- Commercial and business awareness
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
- Process orientated, always looking to implements process improvements
