Driver / Technician - Lymington
Our client based in Lymington has an immediate requirement for a Driver / Workshop Technician to join their small but busy team.
You will be required to prepare products to despatch to customers, carry out inspections, tests and repairs to the products and help with housekeeping to keep the warehouse in good order. On-the-job training will be given in all areas, so product experienceisn’t necessary.
At times you will be called upon to help with van deliveries, so a full driving license is required. When delivering products to client’s sites, you will be required to give product demonstrations and training on how to operate the equipment.
Applicants will have previous hands-on work experience; we particularly welcome enquiries from people who have worked for tool hire companies and trades depots previously. Previous van delivery driving experience would be a distinct advantage.
You must be able to travel to a remote location in Lymington for work. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available; the starting salary will be £22k per annum.
There is potential for progression in the company, as well as bonuses, save as you earn schemes and a pension.
