Accountant

Job Duties:

- Manage all day to day transactions and related companies and ensure they are properly recorded, filed and reported including invoiced receivables, invoices payable, bank payments and bank reconciliations
- Manage the monthly payroll process
- Manage the monthly CIS submissions
- Prepare VAT returns
- Assist with the Production all management and financial accounts
- Create monthly and annual KPI’s and Board reports as agreed with the Portfolio FD to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts and to assist Management
- Assist and Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
- Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing and business processes
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- With the Portfolio FD develop budgets and financial plans for the company to assist with any fundraising and/or CAPEX funding.
- With the Portfolio FD Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Report to the Portfolio FD with timely and accurate financial information
- Assist the Portfolio FD in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Skills and Qualifications:
You will be MAAT or qualified by experience; with several years of experience in a business or finance environment;
You will have solid written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; organisational skills

Hours - the hours on this vacancy are flexible and can be worked around other commitments. It is a permanent part time role.
