**Salary: £34,514 - £51,179 per year (MPS/UPS plus SEN Point 1)**

**Contract: Full Time, Permanent**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at our exceptional school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)

We are seeking an experienced SENCO, to play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring their social, emotional and mental health needs are met within a specialised environment.

Our students are unable to attend mainstream settings due to their needs and as a result, we work closely with a range of support agencies and other schools to ensure our students receive the best possible education and support for their own personal growth and development.
- Please note - You MUST have at least 3 years experience as a qualified teacher to be considered for this role. Possessing NASENCO is also highly desirable, but not essential._

**The Role - SENCO - Responsibilities**:

- SENCO with QTS and UK Teaching experience - at least 3 years
- Create and enforce personalized strategies to meet student needs.
- Manage daily SEND operations and support SEN students.
- Offer professional guidance to colleagues, parents, and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with legal duties, including EHCP reviews.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to development plans.
- Design and implement programs to enhance learning.
- Assist with access arrangements and manage the Intervention Team.
- Collaborate with external professionals and oversee staff training.
- Attend meetings and maintain quality provision.
- Conduct performance reviews and liaise with the Local Authority.
- Communicate effectively with school leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on educational changes and facilitate student transitions.
- Produce necessary documentation and maintain records.
