Carpenter/Joiner - Furniture Industry

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000 (PAYE)

Annual holiday entitlement: 20 calendar days plus 8 Bank Holidays

Employment type: Permanent, 45hrs a week

We are looking to hire a skilful and hard-working joiner to work in a modern and clean factory environment. Your main duties will be preparing and assembling wardrobe doors and drawer boxes. You must be able to work independently and as part of the team. Good spoken and written English is essential.

The role will involve:

- Working with electric and manual hand tools;
- Operating a spindle moulder, multi-boring machine, squaring and clamping equipment;
- Routinely cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Your work hours will be from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday plus overtime when available.

The workstation is on a mezzanine so use of a ladder is required.
