By joining our friendly HR team, we will support you in developing a comprehensive understanding of the Human Resources function. We will mentor you to provide professional advice to managers, support employees, and co-ordinate the day to day activities of the employee lifecycle. This will be in partnership with studying your apprenticeship ensuring you develop rounded skills and the practical experience required to become HR professional.

**What you'll be doing**
- Undertake a Level 3 in HRM / CIPD.
- Provide HR administration support to the HR Team.
- Support recruitment campaigns and selection processes.
- Co-ordinate the new joiner onboarding and induction processes.
- Liaise with occupational health providers to arrange employee medicals.
- Support Payroll to process salary adjustments and other employee life cycle activities
- Compose and distribute routine written correspondence such as references, job offers, changes to terms and conditions, and resignations.
- Accurately enter data into the HR system ensuring employee records are maintained.
- Maintain the electronic employee filing system.
- Provide note taking support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.

**Who we're looking for (person specification)**
- Level 2 (GCSE) in English and Maths
- Enthusiasm to learn and commitment to study.
- Genuine interest in a career in HR.
- Understanding of confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
- Attention to detail and understanding of the importance of data accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of how to provide excellent customer service.
- Administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and other IT systems.

**Other Requirements**:

- Eligible to work and live in the UK.
