Dental Receptionist

Duties
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Verify Plan coverage and assist patients with Plan-related questions
- Collect patient information and update electronic health records accurately
- Process payments and provide receipts to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Experience
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus but full trainning will be provided
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
