**School Caretaker Vacancy**
- Location: Southampton
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Monday - Friday, Alternative shift patterns 7:00am-4:00pm / 10:00am-6:00pm (Can slightly differ for each school)

**What you can expect from this position**:

- Create and maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure Risk Assessments and H&S inspections are carried out.
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ensure utilities including heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
- Checking doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
- Open up buildings in the morning and lock them at the end of the day.
- Check and maintain fire alarm.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all outside areas of school including clearing drains, removing litter.
