Highway Maintenance Operative

Highway Maintenance Operative -Job Summary:
Activities will included some of the following but is not limited to them.
Carriageway repairs in a traditional tarmac patching team
Resetting Ironwork
Kerbing
Drainage work
As most of the activities take place on the highways you will need to have a willingness to work outside in all aspects of weather conditions all year round.
**Requirements**:
- Trained in the use of plant and machinery
- Full Driving License that includes towing and allows driving of 7.5 tonne vehicles
- CSCS Card that has not expired - (or equivalent)
- 5 years experience in Highway Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team with mínimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
