Job Title: Asbestos Removal Operative

As an Asbestos Removal Operative, you will be an integral part of our clients team responsible for the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials from various sites in London. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out asbestos removal activities in strict accordance with all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Setting up and preparing containment areas for asbestos removal, including sealing off work areas and installing appropriate safety measures.
- Safely removing and disposing of asbestos-containing materials using approved methods and equipment.
- Performing visual inspections, air monitoring, and clearance procedures to ensure that all asbestos has been effectively removed.
- Documenting all work performed, including daily reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Asbestos Operative Licence or Certification (UKATA, ARCA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to asbestos removal.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in tight or uncomfortable spaces.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's licence is required.
