**About the Employer**
I am a female living in Chesterfield looking to recruit 2 or 3 PAs to support me to live independently in my own home. I have limited mobility and I require the use of a wheelchair. Total 27.5 hours a week will be shared between 2 or 3 PAs. The rota will be shared between PAs, the days and times will be discussed with applicants at interview. The total hours include 3 hours for a social/leisure activity, the day and time will to discussed at interview.

**About the Role**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
- Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
- Support with food shopping.
- Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
Support with social call - 3hours/wk
You will be required to administer medication. (Minimum age requirement)
The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
**Transport Requirement**
Car driver preferred but not essential.
**Required Skills**:
- Be honest, reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.

- To be able to follow instructions accurately.

- Previous caring experience is essential.
- Be able to work flexibly, adapting to the employers needs on a daily basis.
- Flexibility would be an advantage as the hours may be variable.
- Be self-motivated with a willingness to get involved.
**Required Training**
First Aid. PA must already hold relevant qualification.

- Monday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm
- Tuesday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm
- Wednesday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm
- Thursday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm
- Friday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm
- Saturday, 3.5 hrs, to cover 4 calls breakfast, lunch, tea and bed call between 7.45am and 9.00pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
