**Main responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining, improving and promoting a world class H&S environment in all plant areas. **Safety first and foremost**:

- Produce and communicate daily furnace and braze processing schedules
- Produce and communicate daily inspection priority lists
- Liaise with Production Manager, Production Team and Goods In/Out in order to efficiently schedule resources
- Collect and report furnace operating hours on a daily basis
- Capture and report weekly and monthly schedule adherence of all areas
- Assist and/or carry out root cause analysis on failures that affect schedule adherence
- Schedule and carry routine furnace checks and PPM
- Support the daily communication meetings and the process confirmation boards
- Assist and support the Goods In/Out activities when required
- Assist Production Manager in the procurement of critical items including gases and consumables
- Liaise with customers, to understand future demand and to ensure effective scheduling has been achieved, visit customers as and when necessary
- Support risk assessment activities
- Maintain good working practices, workplace organisation (5S) in line with Company health, safety, environmental and quality systems
- Engage with all continuous improvement activities continuously look for opportunities to improve using 7 Wastes Identification approach
- Any other reasonable requests set by management

**Qualifications, experience and skills**:

- A good understanding of all operational processes
- Organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Good communicator, able to influence
- Computer literate
- Able to collate and analyse operational data.
- Able to produce accurate reports

**Salary / package**:

- Competitive salary
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
