Senior Digital Specialist

We are looking for a Service Delivery Specialist to join our team within Digital. Responsible for supporting the management of a range of Digital services and multiple third-party service suppliers - enabling Scottish Water to operate in line with all its Digital needs.

Main Responsibilities

The role will cover a wide range of Digital Service Management capabilities within Digital Services for Scottish Water.

Service focus. You can maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery (designing, developing, delivering and operating). You can ensure that a set of Digital products, suppliers and vendors come together to deliver a Digital service.

Service reporting. You can use management information to consolidate agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into product or service measures, to underpin the service management of a specific product or service.

Stakeholder relationship management (Digital operations). You can identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders. You can clarify mutual needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of impacts. You can co-ordinate all promotional activities for one or more business areas, to achieve satisfaction for the end users and an acceptable return for the supplier. You can assist the business to ensure that maximum benefit is gained from the products and services supplied.

Strategic thinking. You can take an overall perspective on business issues, events and activities, and discuss their wider implications and long-term impact. You can determine patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements. You can effectively focus on outcomes rather than solutions and activities.

User focus. You can understand users and identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence. You can translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs. You can engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users. You can show that you put users first and can manage competing priorities.

Essential Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Highly organized, self-motivated, risk oriented and thrives on mínimal supervision- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies- Ability to work closely with multiple internal and external technology teams- Must be able to help identify process improvement where needed- Exceptional verbal & communication skills, presentation skills and demonstrable ability to interact effectively with all levels within Scottish Water and our Digital Partners

Note the role will be required to take active participation in the Digital on-call rota for incident management (7*24 every 1 in 4 weeks).

The salary range for this position is £35,384 - £47,924 depending on experience.
