**Summary of Job Role**:
EA Gibson Shipbrokers is looking to recruit a Broker to work on the Gas desk in our London office. For this role you will ideally have 2-3 years' experience, be motivated and driven to succeed, and have a network of chartering/owning clients.

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their Broking career and add value to a team.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside an established team of brokers located both East and West to build out the Gas desk with focus in Petrochemical Gases, extending their client base and identifying and developing new potential business.
- Facilitating and executing deals between parties, directly and co broking with teammates
- Gathering data from the market and helping to coordinate information within our bespoke technology system.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully work with challenging and demanding clients with tenacity and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Basic understanding of Petrochemical, especially Olefins, preferred
