**Secondment**: 12 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced passionate registered midwife to lead and manage our community midwifery teams at Walsall Healthcare Trust. You will be experienced, enthusiastic and caring and must be able to work autonomously, demonstrating excellent clinical skills to provide effective, individualised women centred care. You will need to promote normality and the use of alternative therapies for the benefit of low-risk women. Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is a teaching hospital with a very busy maternity unit providing care to over 3700 women each year. We take great pride in promoting midwifery by delivering holistic women-centered care to our diversWalsall is located centrally within the West Midlands approximately 11 miles from Birmingham with excellent transport links by road and rail to both the North and South UK. There is a busy shopping and entertainment centre within walking distance from the Truste local community.
