Quality Assurance Consultant

**About The Role**:
RAC have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Quality Assurance Consultant **to join our dynamic Governance, Risk and Compliance division on a secondment and/or permanent basis.
The purpose of the Quality Assurance Consultant is to sample, monitor and audit both regulatory adherence and customer experience being delivered by roles across all channels. Identification of key issues from monitoring, including the flagging of key risks such as potential fraud, is a key part of this role.
This role is open to full and part time employees however, in order for part time employees to be accepted, it would be required multiple are successful to make up the equivalent of a full-time employee. Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm (but flexibility considered) using the RAC hybrid working policy.
**What You’ll Do**
- Completion of agreed levels of monitoring
- Flagging any decline in performance for urgent action, communicating key areas of concern through agreed further investigation in order to mitigate potential risk / fraud.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and awareness of competitor offers and provide insight regarding customer dissatisfaction or miss-selling.
- Ensuring products are sold in a compliant manner through the use of agreed marking parameters, maintaining the integrity and credibility of audit scores.
- Ensuring errors by individuals are highlighted through the use of the feedback process and improvements are seen as a result.
- Identifying and sharing any compliance risks with the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Completion of bespoke work/projects where greater detailed analysis is required.
- Ensuring we act to deliver good outcomes for our customer and adhere to regulatory requirements
**What You’ll Need...**
You’ll also need the following:
- Experience of working in a regulated sales & customer focused department preferred
- Good analytical ability, rigorous in questioning why and how things are done & excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Good level of commercial awareness
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
- Good coaching skills
- Dynamic, flexible and adaptable to change
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
- PC literate, good numerical and written skills
