Edinburgh, United Kingdom Rovco Full time

At Rovco we are busy making offshore hydrographic and subsea survey more autonomous, using autonomous ships, and underwater robots enabled by our computer vision, AI, and data technology.

Born for renewables, we are helping the world become a cleaner, greener, and safer place. Our core focus is to automate offshore wind services by creating and deploying novel tech solutions.

Growing at nearly 100% per year we're creating the world's only truly green subsea services and hydrographic survey/site characterisation business.

Rovco are recruiting an Executive Assistant to support our Chief Revenue Officer and the wider Sales team.

The Executive Assistant must be a creative self-starter and enjoy working in an environment that drives transformation. It is a mission-focused, results-driven organisation.

The ideal individual will be able to exercise good judgement in various situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organisational skills. The ability to maintain a realistic balance among priorities is a must.

You must be able to work independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle various activities and confidential matters with discretion.

We work in an exciting and dynamic environment, where every day is likely to be a little different, but here are some of the main responsibilities you will have in the role:

- Working directly with the CRO to support all aspects of their daily work routine
- Maintain the CRO calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, travel (may include domestic and international), arranging dinners, social events, and any public appearances
- Managing expenses for the CRO and their team
- Organise and attend select meetings, take notes, capture action items, and ensure follow through
- Support the CRO and the Sales team with general administrative duties, such as preparing memos, letters, invoices, and other documents
- Quality checking proposals and external correspondence for accuracy
- Managing phone calls, taking messages, and supporting external visitors or guests
- Ad-hoc office management responsibilities such as organising office layout, being a point of contact for any office space related issues or requests
- Deal with highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately, demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence
- Provide support to the Business Support team, working closely with the EAs and offering cover when required

(we know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

- Proactive approach to supporting the CRO and problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities
- Experience of supporting a fast-paced Sales team, experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM
- Experience of working in a similar industry to Rovco would be an advantage
- Growth mindset and emotional intelligence
- Positive and kind attitude and focus on being an effective team member
- Be able to work in a fast-moving environment whilst being adaptable in a rapidly growing company
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prominent levels of flexibility and adaptability
- Business and commercial acumen

**Interview Process**

At Rovco, we've designed a straightforward interview process to ensure the best fit for both you and the company. We have adopted anonymised recruitment. This means that your name, date of birth and other personal details will not be seen by the hiring team.
- **Aptitude Test**: Demonstrate your critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and workplace personality through an aptitude test. It includes a timed cognitive exercise and a workplace personality questionnaire
- **Talent Partner Interview**: We will tell you more about the role, the team and Rovco’s mission. This is a two-way conversation; we want to learn about your motivation, and provide answers to your questions.
- **Team Interview**: Engage in a 1-hour interview with our CRO and Executive Assistant. Experience the role firsthand and share your skills and experience. We'll discuss our technologies, key skills, and team dynamics. As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
- **Offer** If you are successful in the process, you'll receive an offer to join Vaarst and become part of our team.

We value the diversity of our teams and are committed to supporting and welcoming individuals from all backgrounds, knowing that every perspective is a valuable part of our success. Should you require any reasonable adjustment throughout the recruitment process, please do not hesitate to let a member of the Talent team know.
