Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Procurement of materials and Plant to service project requirements, demonstrating value for money through competitive tendering and pricing analysis to minimise risk and maximise commercial opportunity
- Identifying suppliers and sub-contractors, obtaining quotations and agreeing delivery timescales
- Liaising effectively with with the site management team and suppliers & sub-contractors to manage the flow of labour & materials appropriately
- Liaising closely with the estimator at the tendering stage to ensure that an accurate project cost is provided
- Approval of Purchase Invoices for payment
- Previous buying in a similar role gained within the construction sector is essential
- Procurement qualification desirable but not essential
- Excellent stakeholder skills at all levels
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of market rates

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
