**SALES REPRESENTATIVE**

A new, exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated sales person to join DMC Transportation.

Duties of the role:
Research and identify potential leads that could benefit from the company service

Proactively contact and qualify leads to generate opportunities for new business

Achieve required levels of sales development activity via research and face-to-face meetings

Become main point of contact for sales and commercial topics

Manage a portfolio of potential clients

Acquire new Business for DMC and develop a strong and beneficial relationship for both sides

Develop and negotiate new offers

Consult your clients about the best solutions for the transportation of their goods

Will have previous internal sales/business development experience

Ambitious with a growth mindset

Good knowledge of the transportation industry

Has strong communicative manner

A natural when it comes to recognizing and solving client problems

Proactive and you able to take up responsibility

Capable of working alone and in a team

Ideally with a network established inside the UK logistics market

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paisley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
