We are seeking a **Data Executive **who understands the importance of high-quality accurate data to help us grow our fundraising income and provide the best possible experience to our donors.

Working closely across our fundraising, communications and finance teams you’ll be the go-to person for the fundraising CRM (currently e-Tapestry by Blackbaud) helping us to make the most of our system, improve efficiency and interpret our data better.

The role works closely across the fundraising, communications and finance teams within Designability, as well being supported by the DPO. Forming strong relationships and communicating effectively is essential to the success of this role as well as an understanding of the importance of data accuracy and data interpretation for decision making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all fundraising and communications data imports in a timely manner, with a high degree of accuracy, including reconciliation from their source.
- Work closely with the fundraising, communications and finance teams, mapping data flows and ensuring all new data processing activities are robust.
- Responsibility for maintenance and integrity of fundraising and communications data on current database (e-Tapestry) through regular housekeeping and data cleansing procedures.
- Provide accurate data reports and dashboards in accordance with the wider teams requirements, whilst maintaining data compliance (GDPR, PECR) and within agreed deadlines.
- Develop and improve data quality & efficiency, whilst adhering to best practice.
- Develop and support processes for the fundraising and communications team handling personal data, ensuring all data processing are compliant with data privacy legislation.
- Provide training and write user guidelines where necessary, including for new starters with access to the database.
- Proactively identify any new data sources missing from the CRM, aiming to ensure that all supporters data is captured for a 360-degree view.
- Support with the set up and onboarding of any new data streams being processed onto the CRM.
- Understand and respond to data questions and queries from external and internal stakeholders.

**Person Specification**:

- Similar experience in an applicable role.
- Experience using a CRM database to process and manage a wide range of data, including importing.
- Experience of collecting, collating, analysing data and creating automated reports and information for leadership teams.
- Understanding of GDPR and associated data regulations.
- Proficient MS Office user
- Ability to explain complex data, analysis, or technical information to non-technical staff, written or verbal.
- Effective time management and able to work to deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy, written and analytical skills to interrogate data and draw conclusions.
- Resourceful thinker with initiative.
- Willing to work at all levels and adaptable to the situation or task in hand.
- Self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as a good team player.
- Willing and able to take personal responsibility and learn new skills and systems.
- The ability to articulate to non-technical users what data is showing us and what that means.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
