The Role

Our Medical Advisors are field-based medical affairs professionals covering various countries or regions across Europe. The role requires scientifically trained individuals with strong clinical/scientific backgrounds and excellent communication skills, who engage members of the healthcare/scientific communities to conduct scientific exchange and contribute to data generation supporting Genmab’s Haematology and Oncology assets. Medical Advisors act as therapy area and product experts for both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the development of global and regional medical affairs strategy and its field implementation.

The current role is for a Medical Advisor based in the United Kingdom.

National, regional, & international travel required (dependent on territory, 40-60% of working time).

**Responsibilities**:
- Establish and maintain enduring relationships with members of the healthcare/scientific communities who are expert in Genmab’s areas of interest.- Develop profound understanding of company assets and associated disease states, together with territory-specific competitive, regulatory, and reimbursement landscapes.- Align and execute FMA territory plans in accordance with GMA objectives.- Provide guidance on development of strategies to demonstrate the value of Genmab products with a focus on outcomes meaningful to payers and clinical decision-makers.- Collaborate with medical and clinical operations teams to support company-sponsored studies, including site identification, feasibility, setup, and recruitment.- Participate in relevant cross-functional teams and task forces to represent GMA.- Facilitate communications with investigators to advance understanding of company assets and pipeline data, provide externally-derived insight/feedback to inform clinical/scientific development planning, and ensure optimal benefit for patients.- Present appropriate clinical and scientific information in a fair and balanced manner to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in response to unsolicited requests.- Professionally represent Genmab at select medical/scientific conferences- Reactively facilitate investigator-sponsored trial proposals, assessing study methodology, scientific rigor, and potential impact. Coordinate submission for internal review.- Engage HCPs as needed to support e.g. advisory boards, investigator meetings, medical education activities, etc.- Contribute to the development of annual global publications plans; advise on regional needs.- Ensure that strategically aligned scientific content is incorporated appropriately in materials with accurate, fair/balanced statements and conclusions supported by suitable data.- Contribute as requested to drafting materials e.g. Key Intelligence Questions/Topics, Frequently Asked Questions, etc.- Assist in drafting SOPs necessary to achieve organisational objectives and comply with government regulations and company policy. Ensure adherence to policies/procedures.- Support training of Genmab colleagues, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of clinical data and our medicines as required.

**Requirements**:
- Advanced Scientific or Medical Degree (Pharm D, PhD, MD) or relevant clinical background required- Minimum 3 years of Medical Affairs experience required, preferably in Haematology/Oncology.- Strong knowledge and/or experience of healthcare and access environments- Proven ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with numerous internal cross-functional colleagues and collaborations with external industry partners- Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical Codes of Practice and other local/regional compliance regulations relevant to interactions with members of the healthcare/scientific community.- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and patient-centric focus are required- Flexible, with positive attitude, strong ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and communicate at all levels within the company.Our commitment to bringing new medicines to the market to improve patients’ lives is a strong motivation for employees at Genmab.
