This is a casual position based at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel for an outgoing and energetic individual who would be able to work in the Food and Beverage (F&B) outlets, achieving excellent service and guest satisfaction every day. Associates will carry out duties within the Food & Beverage departments as requested by the Outlets Manager and Food and Beverage Supervisors, maintaining the Company’s brand standards at all times. They will be responsible for serving our guests in accordance with Marriott standards of Food and Beverage quality, presentation and hygiene, in a gracious and professional manner.

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

- To ensure food and beverage service preparation levels are prepared as directed by Shift Leaders/Supervisors within direct relation to forecast business levels.
- To effectively carry out operational tasks delegated by higher level of the operational structure.
- Deliver a quality service that will exceed customer service standard as measured by Guest Satisfaction Surveys and reports and set out in Company core Brand Standard manuals
- To understand the importance of teamwork in order to provide high standards of customer service and maintain operational consistency throughout all F&B departments.
- To maintain and continually develop product knowledge, to ensure maximization of guest satisfaction and profit. Be knowledgeable about all of the hotels facilities/products and able to actively promote them.
- To take a pro-active approach to the development and actioning of sales, promotions and departmental operational controls in order to achieve required financial goals.
- To uphold all departmental operational systems and procedures in order to maintain accurate accountability
- Carries responsibility for ensuring that all cash and key security procedures are adhered at all times as per the hotel policy
- Role includes manual handling activities, exposure to cleaning chemicals and prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- To be aware of departmental goals and targets and to be committed to increasing departmental profits
- To effectively promote teamwork, by providing the highest quality service to our internal customers
- To motivate and support other associates to ensure that job satisfaction is maintained and constantly improved as measured by the Company Engagement Survey.
