We are recruiting for the position of Finance Business Partner. You will lead the execution of appropriate mechanisms to deliver consistent financial planning; forecasting, analysis and reporting activities to ensure fit for purpose consolidated reporting to support the SLC’s management in appropriate and timely decision making. The Finance Business Partner will engage with and influence senior partners to achieve strong financial assurance and collaborative working, and to drive appropriate project financial decision making by both Internal and External Customers.

As a member of the Finance Team, you will help deliver the SLC Mission with a focus on the key business objective of Managing Public Money. You should also strive to demonstrate our Leading the Way values. Our back-office support is vital to creating the value needed to support the continuous improvement required to achieve the implementation of a Digital, Customer Focused, Centre of Excellence and we can all contribute to this.

**Person specification**:

- Qualified accountant with experience at a Senior level
- Significant experience of financial planning; forecasting, analysis operating at a senior level
- Experience in tracking financial benefits through to realisation, as a result of strategic change or continuous improvements, is also desirable
- Excellent leadership and delegation skills
- Excellent influencing skills
- Significant track record of working with finance systems within a complex environment
- Experience and technical systems knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and Hyperion is desirable
