Padstow Sea Cadets are seeking new Maintenance Volunteers to support the upkeep and repair of the Unit's buildings, boats and equipment.

We are looking for appropriately experience and confident individuals who can work as part of a team to maintain all our facilities and resources. Led and directed by our Maintenance Team Leader, your individual stills and practical abilities will be put to use on a range of tasks to enusre that our buildings, boats and equipment remains safe to use by our operational volunteers and young people.

Duties of the Maintenance Staff include:

- Carry out general upkeep of our purpose built facility
- Carry out regular inpsections and maintenance of our fleet of boats
- Carry out regular inspections and maintenance of all our boat trailers and trolleys
- If suitably qualified and experienced, carry out regular service and repair duties on our selection of Outboard Engines
- Carry out grounds maintenance of our building exteriors and boatyard
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and schedules.
- Be a point of contact for external contractors
- Professional and well organised
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Proven practical skills
- Relavent qualifications would be an advantage, but not essential

Volunteer time for this role is extremely flexible and other than attendance at set Maintenance Days or team meetings, all other duties can be carried out at your own time.
