Are you an experienced Stores person looking for a new role?

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Stores Assistant for a well-established company based in Thornaby. This is a great opportunity for someone to excel within the company as it is a long term Temp to Perm role.

The successful person will be
- Responsible for managing the inward goods, storage and recording stock movements for efficient manufacture and the supply of products
- Maintaining the storage and control of consumables required for the production, plant, machine and operators
- Assist with the maintenance of the stores area
- Take receipt of delivered goods and check for quality and quantity
- Respond to office enquiries for stock information
- Good communication skills
- Able to manage and prioritise work loads
- Work in a fast moving environment
- Movement of pallets from deliveries and collections using an FLT

Must have
- 2 years’ experience in a Storeman type role
- In date FLT licence
- Good computer skills
- Good customer service skills, both internal and external

Pay rate
- £11.27 p/h

Shifts
- 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday OR 7am-5pm Tuesday to Friday

38 hours, 4 day week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.27 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornaby on Tees: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Stores: 2 years (preferred)
