**Excellent basic salary -**Company Van - Breakdown and routine maintenance of mechanical handling equipment at all kinds of client manufacturing and warehousing sites.
Loads of opportunity for overtime and we are looking for some based in the Midlands with easy access to the M1

**The Role and Person**:

- Breakdown and routine maintenance of mechanical handling equipment at all kinds of client manufacturing and warehousing sites
- UK wide role covering existing customers materials handling equipment
- Flexibility to stay away 2 nights per week depending on client locations and job size - autonomous role for a mature Engineer
- Team working and lone working depending on the job
- Plenty of overtime available at good rates - evenings, weekends, bank holidays
- Reporting remotely to the Field Engineering Manager, occasionally visiting the office for team meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Time served engineer or a young up and coming Mechanical Engineer with a **mechanical qualification** with good mechanical skills.
- Common sense and a level of responsibility and maturity esential
- You will also need good customer service skills, initiative, common sense, communication and team working skills
- Lots of travel so you will enjoy driving and lots of nights away in hotels UK wide.
- based in or around the Midlands / M1
- Van provided, all travel fully expensed including fuel and hotels.
