**QA Tester**
**Farnborough, Hampshire / Hybrid working (3 days remote / WFH)**

QA Tester (Manual and Automation) required by a by a fast growing secure by design cutting-edge technology company based in Farnborough, Hampshire, providing on-premise and cloud solutions into the Defence and Security sector. The QA Tester will join myclient on fast moving and influential project work which is already underway in the aforementioned Defence and Security Sector.

**A few details about the role**
As a QA Tester you will work across multiple platforms and technology stacks in a very interesting and diverse role which will flex both your manual and automation skills and enhance them further. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Review and analyse system specifications
- Collaborate with engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

**What you will need**
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience of software, network, infrastructure and cloud based testing
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Security Clearance to MoD SC Level with willingness and eligibility for DV Level
