Job Overview:
Working closely with the Store Manager and Bridal Stylists, you will be responsible for hosting bridal fittings and performing alterations with the utmost excellence in client servicing, tailoring knowledge and execution.

You will maintain up to date knowledge of construction and tailoring. Liaising between departments and ensuring smooth and professional day-to-day running of alterations and bridal fittings.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Perform garment alterations and bridal fittings as per customer requirements
- Use sewing machines, overlockers, hand stitching, and other tools to complete tasks
- Take accurate measurements for fittings and alterations
- Ensure finished garments meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised work studio to the highest standards
- Assist with keeping realistic schedules alongside the Store Manager
- Build relationships with the team and support a collaborative environment

Fittings:

- Host bridal fittings. Ensure excellent customer service and an impeccable quality of alterations.
- Keep accurate fit notes and deliver a clear handover to the Store Manager for each client.
- Contribute to managing the timeline of client dresses in the studio from fittings through to alterations and collection. Keep an organised fitting diary

You are passionate and driven, work well under pressure, aesthetic-driven, and solution oriented person who thrives from working with a luxury product.
- Excellent experience with alterations for evening and luxury garments. Bridal experience is preferable.
- Strong technical skills in fit and manufacture, ensuring high quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask in hosting fittings while delivering exceptional service.
- Great understanding of patterns and creating bespoke garments.
- Flourish in a fast paced environment.
- You will be highly organised and run a clear diary. Setting clear objectives and achievable deadlines.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
