Support, Educate and Nurture
We are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant for an immediate start, to work in a primary in the Cleator Moor area. The position is to support a pupil with Autism during class and assisting the teacher in lessons designed to the pupil's ability at KS2. The role is to work in a small nurturing community based primary. Working hours are 9.45 - 14.30
The role
- Support a pupil 1:1 with Autism within class and 1:1 nurture sessions
- To create a safe learning environment for a pupil with Autism in a mainstream school.
- Support the teacher in delivering lessons and reporting on the pupils development.
- communicate regularly and support third party suppliers such as Autism specialist Speech and Language specialists.
The ideal person for the role
- Will have an understanding of Autism.
- May have worked at KS2.
- Passionate about helping young people.
- A great communicator and written skills.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Pay: £85.00-£100.00 per day
